Drowned Rat

HELLO HELLO HELLO!
Well, the last three nights I stayed at Alyssa's house because Phil was away and she didn't want to be lonely! It sure was fun! :). Let's rewind back to Thursday ... ;). Thursday was an INTERESTING day. I went to the doctor because I need some forms filled out for school. There I was waiting for him to fill out my form when ALL OF A SUDDEN I had a NEEDLE IN MY arM. It actually hurt a lot too. I don't LIKE needles but usually I can mentally prepare myself...I get really nervous and shake before a needle but I survive. I had no time to prepare myself this time lol...so I think I imagined it hurt more than it ACTUALLY did. After he took the needle out then he filled out a bit more of the form and then said he was going to send me downstairs to get blood taken. I walked down the stairs and then looked down at my arm and on top of the white bump that comes from that certain needle I also had BLOOD running down my arm! ha ha. Yup, a little embarrassing...and I had NO kleenex with me of course so I walked into the place to get my blood taken with blood running down my arm! ha ha! The lady looked at my arm and said "Oh, are you getting all your shots done for school?" I guess it must be an indicator when someone comes in with blood running down their arm? LOL. For some reason I was even MORE nervous than EVER to get blood taken. I almost asked the nurse to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE not take my blood. Really...I don't know what was wrong with me..I'm not usually such a big baby! Ha ha. Anyways she put the needle in to take my blood and I looked the other way. She was talking to me and then said "here hold this." Still without looking her direction because I DIDN'T want to see the needle I said "umm...pardon?" She said "hold this!!!!" I said "whaaaaaat?" She said "The NEEDLE is out!!!!...you can look now! Hold this!" lol...OOPS! She wanted me to hold the cotton ball on my arm but I thought the needle was STILL in me so I wouldn't look! ha ha...embarrassing...I have to go back to the doctor in a few wks and get more needles. School is SO over rated!!! I rushed to work after and I am USUALLY always 5-10 minutes early for work...but this time I had about ONE minute to get inside. No big deal...I had to park pretty far up the street because there were no parking spots...but still no big deal. Until I started grabbing my stuff from the car and it started to rain...actually let me correct myself...it started to POUR like CRAZY! I had my BIG bag of piano books to take in PLUS AN ice cap...! Luckily I found an umbrealla in my back seat...I grabbed everything only to realize I didn't lock my doors. I had to put EVERYTHING down again and lock my doors. It was starting to get windy out so as I walked toward work my umbrella was blowing backwards so I was using ALL MY MIGHT to keep it from flying away and I was carrying SO much stuff that I couldn't even RUN! Needless to say, when I got inside the umbrella kept the BACK half of me dry, but my front was SOAKED! I looked like I wore my clothes through a CAR WASH! I actually had water DRIPPING off my ARMS onto the floor.(plus all the dried up blood on my arm from the needle...HA HA HA) I was a sight to look at for SURE...when I walked in the door and people laughed at me (good naturedly that is...I laughed at myself too)...I was ABSOLUTELY drenched! I got upstairs and my student saw me and said "WHOA. YOU GOT WET!" Lol..I turned EVERY fan in the room on and pointed them at me so I could actually DRY! It was COOOLD! LOL!!! And the icing on top of the cake was when I OPENED my bag of piano books only to find out that all the books in my bag were WET! SOOOOO sad! Definitely an amusing day :)! On Friday Jonny, Alyssa, & I all had the day off work! We wanted to do something SUPER fun but after brainstorming we realize Durham Region is a pretty boring place! Lol. We ended up going to the Pacific Mall & Ikea! :) . I am just LOVING this summer so far! Summer is almost half over already! Crazy! I hope the second half of summer is EVEN better :) !
