Poor little non-bat :)

Ok well remember about a week ago when I posted about the bat that I thought was outside my window? I have been hearing it off and on every night since then but last night it was CONSTANTLY banging against my window so I got REALLY scared lol so I slammed my door shut (in case the bat got into my room) & went to sleep in the spare room! I really did NOT want to be attacked by a bat lol . Well this morning I thought "I'm going to look out my window" ...I looked before since I had heard the "bat sounds" but hadn't seen anything...Today I looked and saw a MASSIVE TOAD STUCK IN THE WINDOW WELL!! And by massive I mean about the size of an apple! He is HUGE!!!! That explains all the loud noises! :) My window well is covered by some big plastic covering of which the bottom half is buried in the dirt so I can't take it off. I was really confused as to how the toad possibly got in there til I went outside... There is a BIG HOLE in the plastic covering so he was probably walking along through the garden...stepped on the plastic...fell in the hole...and has been in there for DAYS OR WEEKS! So sad! I called Jonny asking what I should do...I said "What does he eat? Should I throw some food in? He is probably all DRIED UP! Maybe I should dump some water on him...actually he probably would not like that!" LOL! Unfortunately I do not know how to get the toad out through the little hole...especially because there is a spider web in the way and also I don't like to pick up toads! lol ! So I left my dad a nice long note hopefully convincing him to rescue the toad while I'm at work!  As I ran out the door today I said "Good-bye little toad! I love you!" UMMMM WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? lol! This toad who tortured me for nights on end ....and I say I LOVE HIM? And I don't love toads...I don't even LIKE THEM! ha ha...I think I just feel bad for him being trapped for so long :( Shannon & I went to check-out the Durham College gym today! I stopped to pick her up and got to hold her baby brother! I wanted to take him home with me SOOOO BADLY! At the gym we were figuring out how all the machines worked because if you can't work it with a friend there you can just laugh together...if you are alone... that's just EMBARRASSING :) LOL ! There was one machine where Shannon already fastened the thing to hold down her legs but then she couldn't reach the bar thingy she had to pull down with her arms. So I said "oh I will grab it!" So I was there standing above her trying to pull down this bar (with weights attached by the way) and I could not DO IT! I was using all my might and NOTHING happened....we laughed so hard and she ended up standing up and getting it herself! I think I need to starting lifting heavy things! ha ha ! It has been a good day so far... :)
